A collaboration project with tattoo artist Jamie Johnstone (Jamjam Tattoo)

 

 ‘Wanderings’ is a project born from wandering around a particular environment (in the first instance, Edinburgh) in search of interesting textures and forms. Graham & Jamie have explored the city, picking out lines, textures, shadows and light. Graham organises his photographs into complementary pairs, creating diptychs that highlight the connections between the images/locations.

Jamie then takes segments of these photographs to incorporate into his graphic compositions, allowing certain lines to themselves ‘wander’ out of the images and around the limbs of the body.
